If i use Wi-Fi does it effect my Data Use?
I have a iPhone 4 please help
If you use Wi-Fi to get access to the Internet, it will not be using your cellular data plan, and therefore will not affect the Data use.
You just need to be aware whether the phone has actually successfully joined the Wi-Fi network before you start browsing and downloading. You don't want to think you are on Wi-Fi when you are actually on cellular data.
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- When you use the amazon cloud on you iphone does that use data? Okay so for Christmas I got an iphone 4s and I have music on the amazon cloud that I want to listen to on my iphone. I have to be careful with how much data I use (especially since my brother can go a bit overboard) So I was just wondering whether just listening to the music on the amazon cloud uses data or not.
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- If I keep my data on but also use Wi-Fi will it use my data? I just got an iPhone from us cellular. I use Wi-Fi to save data, but I can't receive group messages if my data isn't on. If I keep my data on all the time, but use Wi-Fi, will it use my data? And if I keep both on will it use my Wi-Fi instead of data?
