If my company provides me with an iphone, can they spy on my facebook and texts?
I want to know if they can spy on my facebook activity (specifically messages and private posts, passwords, etc) on the content of my texts to my friends and family, and call logs. And what laws this kind of activity might be violating, as well as the basis for civil suit, and what ways i can use to detect spy apps on the phone.
About the only good thing about Apple is their security, if your company provdes you with the iphone if they wanted to monitor you they would indeed need an app. And they would need to declare to you that the app was monitoring you to be legal. As they proved it to you they have the right to audit it, for security purposes, they have the right to check what you install, what you post using their device but not the actual content. That however comes under your employment contract, the phone is theirs, they are giving you it to do your job, they can configure it as they see fit to do the job but as its apple all they can do is add the configuration you need and thats about it, you would then sync it to your own itunes and it then ties to you. They can monitor your calls, the numbers dialled and costings but not the contents unless they tell you.
So in short, they have rihgt to see what you install and who you call, and if they tell you they can record your calls, but they HAVE to tell you. If they don't then its the same rights as anyone else, they don't have any but the phone is theirs, they can wipe it or recall it at any time.
Yes and i would also it is not yours ---it is a security issue. What don't you understand about a company owned phone
Take a look at: http://www.parental-controls-software.net usually, you need to get physical access to install spy app on the target phone.
- Why does the FBI have such a hard time cracking iPhone encryption. Why don't they just use the spy agencie's methods of using spyware? All you need is their phone number, and a cheap piece of software and you have access to everything on the phone (including deleted info) Why make a huge scene about it, when there are much easier ways to bypass lock screen encryption? You don't even need access to the phone, it can remotely install with just one phone call to the number too… Just saying, if the FBI really wanted in, it would be very easy
- What if the eBay buyer provides false tracking information? I sold an iPhone on eBay and the buyer is returning it for a refund. EBay suggests i issue an early refund but what do I do if they provided false info or they didn't actually send the phone and it was something else? Please help I could wait but eBay is gonna pull the money from my account as soon as the tracking number shows delivery
- What cell phone, and company, is the best for someone who just listens to music, streams shows/videos, and texts? Cheapest plans/phones? I occasionally talk on my phone, and/or take photos. Also, can I still get the food/ride share apps if I don't have an IPhone? I live in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. (over 100,000 pop. And over 70 square miles)
- Trading-in my water damaged phone to a phone company. Can they see my personal data? So i'm trading in my iPhone 6 for a newer version as it is water damaged (it won't turn on or anything) and my phone company said that they can recycle it. Does this mean that once they get it working, they will see all of my personal information, including photos, contacts etc? I've taken the SIM card out but I'm not sure what this contains.
