If my laptop has bluetooth, and I connect it to my iphone, does it use my data?
Depending on where I'm I don't have Wi-Fi connection, but my laptop is able to connect to things with Bluetooth. If I connect it to my iPhone, is it going to use my 3G? Is my phone bill going to skyrocket? This laptop was given to me so I never even knew you could connect a laptop to a phone, so any kind of info would be appreciated!
Thanks
Added (1). I'd use it for internet access.
Not unless you pay for a data tethering plan.
I don't know how you will connect it, as the answer depends on HOW you connect it. As data conduit? (i.e.use Internet on phone) As file transfer? (send contacts and files to PC and vice versa) As audio passthru? (i.e.take calls on PC instead of phone)…
- Why does my Wi-Fi connect to my ipad and iphone but not my laptop? My Wi-Fi on my laptop will say its connecting but then doesn't. It says my cord is broken or not plugged in but I've checked it and there's nothing wrong. My Wi-Fi connects fine to my iPad and iPhone. Not understanding why it won't connect to my laptop anymore.
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- Syncing IPhone 4S Bluetooth with 2006 Prius Bluetooth? I just purchased an IPhone 4S and it will not sync with the bluetooth on my 2006 Prius. I have been to my Toyota Dealer who sent me back to Verizon store who said reinstall software on phone, which I did No luck. Any suggestions?
- My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
