If she didn't respond should i just drop it?
Texted a girl "hey", and she didn't respond.
We both have iphones and it doesn't say she read it, and its been a day. Should i try her over facebook or text her again or just continue to wait and not expect a reply.
Just to be clear we're friends, i've known her for like a year i just haven't seen her all that much since i went to college and i used to have a massive crush on her.
She could have read it and her read receipts may be off.
You should try again one more time just in case, just don't get annoying and keep sending it until she replies.
Maybe try texting a bit more than hey. I barely ever respond when someone just writes "hey" it annoys me like what am i suppose to say to that? Doesn't mean i don't like the person
I'm kinda in the same exact position as you in everything you said lol… Recently the same exact thing happened to me and i just waited for her to respond, she still hasn't after a week… She hasn't been the first to text since before i took her to my senior prom (she's still in high school)… So i think if she's never gonna put an effort to talk to me then we shouldnt even be friends… Even tho i just wanna text her again… Thats how i'm handling this
I think you should leave it alone for atleast a day. Then post on her wall. I would say hey I been thinkin about you or miss you girl. Give me call or text. Something casual and not pushy
Try to put a little more effort in your texts. Put some fun energy into them. Don't just send "hey" bc that'll just shut her off quick.
The ones who have had a massive crush on another try way to hard to look like they are not interested.
Be more open, if you haven't seen her in a while and you were pretty cool with each other.say "hey Caroline, how are you, i realize we haven't seen each other and a while. I miss hanging out, do you want to do something this week, catch up?
then leave it alone at that point.see if she responds.
then you can text hey in one week.
wait a week, text one last text, awww well i guess you got caught up busy like i have been all this year. You have my number hope to here from you when you can.
