If you crack your iPhone for the first time, will Apple replace it for free?
My friend cracked her screen and when she brought it to the apple store to get it fixed they fixed it for free only because it was her first time cracking it, and well that happened to me a few days ago so I wanted to see if it was true, anyone else had theirs fixed up for free first time it got cracked?

I've already created an Apple account, but when I go to download free apps from the App Store, it's telling me to do something in iTunes first. When I go to do that, it asks for billing information, which I don't have a credit card. I have to do all this to download free apps?
