If you delete an iphone photo, will it delete the contact photo too?
I have an iPhone 4 and I have been deleting photos. I want to know if the photos we use for a Contact (the photo you see for a person that calls you/contact photo) gets deleted when you delete the photo from the camera roll/library?
No, the photo is copied to the contact, so it's safe to delete the original photo. Anyway if you're worried you can always try with just one photo and see what happens to the contact.
No it will not delete the contact photo.
Once you choose a photo, it will ask you to move and scale the photo.
Once you've done that, the photo will be saved to the contact, and the original can be removed.
