If you found an iPhone 5 on the bus?

Would you return it to the bus driver…

or…

keep it and put it on lost and found on Craigslist. I trust myself more than these bus drivers. What do you think

Keep it, call someone on their contacts list, tell them that the phone was lost and you want to return it.

If it was turned on then I would just call someone in the persons address book and arrange a meeting for the owner to come and pick up the phone. If not then I would give it into the bus driver. I lost my purse on a bus and the driver got it back for me. They are mostly quite honest, at least in Dublin anyway.

If I kept it then I can't get on it, there's a chance you'll need a password to get on it. So keeping it for yourself is useless.

Depends, if it's a school bus, I would give it to someone at the front desk.

If it's a public bus, I would keep it.

I'd keep it, take it to an apple store, ask to unlock the phone so I could call up one of the persons contacts.

And tell em "I found your phone!".

I don't think the person that lost it would think that somebody would put it on Craigslist. But I don't know. Was it on a public bus or school bus. If it was a school bus maybe you can turn it in to the office.

Well I would probably look to see if there are any contacts saved and call them to find out who the phone belongs to.

Give it to the bus driver. They are legally obligated to put it in the public bus lost and found station. People lose their stuff All the time on public buses, so if they realize they left it on the bus that's the first place they will search unless notified otherwise.

If they activated find my iphone then its worthless anyways, you have no way to turn it off or make it your own.
