What to do on a long bus ride?
I'm going on an overnight field trip to Chicago soon and I don't know what to do on the bus! It's about a 6-8 hour drive and I don't have an iphone or iPod touch, I do have a regular iPod that just plays music though. Also I will be with friends, if that helps!
Start discussions about stuff with your friends listen to some toons and enjoy the view.
Try to have a conversation about a interesting topic that can last a moderate amount of time. You can also listen to music on your iPod for a while, or my favorite, stare out of the window.
I know they are becoming unknown to the new generation, but public librarys offer check out of novels. Some on cassette. You can get an Agatha Christi whodunit or a romance or even a technical subject such as how to build a bookcase or wine rack. Does not take up much space and may provide a topic for discussion on the trip back.
