If you put a bumper on a hard shell iphone case, will it be more protective?

I'm a huge klutz, but I love hardshell cases on my iphone 5s, they're so sleek. If i like put a bumper on it while i do the hardshell, will it be more protective? And any cheap cheap bumpers from amazon, if you could link some for like under 2-3$ that would be great.

Not sure it would fit. They're made to fit the phone… Not another case. Personally I like TPU cases.

  • Why does an iphone bumper case not protect the back? Main point of a case is to protect the back, how can you do that with a bumper case of it only protects the side…
