If you upgrade your iPhone, do they take your old one back?
I upgraded my iPhone about a year ago now and recently I went looking for my old iPhone because I lost all of my contact numbers. But I couldn't find it anywhere. I looked in every room of my house, every drawer, every cupboard, every box. I've spent hours and hours searching for it, but it is nowhere to be seen. I'm wondering if they might have taken it when I upgraded my old one but I can't remember at all. I'm just wondering if anyone else knows if this is possible? Do they take your old phone before giving you the new one if it is an upgrade of the same phone?
No.
When you upgrade, you are purchasing a new phone. You don't have to trade in your old one.
Only just recently have they started doing something like that (The AT&T Next Program, the T-Mobile Jump! Program, etc, require the trading in of your old phone)
But standard, 2 year upgrades, don't require the trading in of your old phone.
I think they do sometimes
No, not unless you intentionally traded it in. Alot do trade them in now though as they give you $ off your new upgrade.
- Will taking your battery out you iPhone then putting the same one back in mess up you phone? My iPhone 5c was water damaged and I looked at things on YouTube how to fix it and one was to open up your iPhone and vacuum out your phone but I took out my battery and vacuumed it then put it back in.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- What would you do if you were watching your favorite show, and your 20 year old kid turned off the TV so that you couldn't watch it? I pay all the bills at the house. I normally watch AHS once a week with my kid. This week, she told me to go watch it in my own room. I told her my TV wasn't working and we would just have to watch it in her room. She turned off the TV so that I couldn't watch it. Then, she pompously pulled out her iPhone and proceeded to watch it on her iPhone. What would you do if this happened to you?
- If you get your iPhone replaced, do you keep the old one? I need to get my iPhone replaced, it's broken and is out of warranty, the man at the apple shop said I have to pay a fee of £150 to get a replacement. When they replace your iPhone, does apple keep your faulty one or can you keep it? I was just wondering because I could sell it for broken parts etc.
