Importing photos from iphone 4s to computer?

When trying to sync my iphone with my laptop to import my photos it will come around half way and then stay on one photo and not move, i do not have any space left and i can't do anything with my phone until this problem is solved. I have a toshiba laptop with i think windows 7 but i'm not sure.

First thing to try would be uploading a few at a time. If it is locking up it might mean that the computer is getting over whelmed. I'm not certain cause I don't know much about your computer

second thing to try is just download the icloud application for windows computers, and make sure the icloud on your phone is turned on and that the blue toggle switch next to photos is turned on. You will be able to access everything in your icloud account from that application on your computer, including your pictures.

Or, do it the good o fashion way and plug your phone into your computer, open the start menu click on my computer, scroll down till you see the name of your device, open it up and then click on import images.

What about icloud which can sync music, maybe also photos

What program are you running to backup your photos from iPhone to computer?
I'm using freeware Syncios to solve this kind of problem for a few months.
