Install whited00r 6 on an unjailbroken iPhone 3g?

I heard whited00r made an IOS 6 update for older iDevices so I decided to try it on an old iPhone 3G for fun. After getting onto the website it said your device had to be jailbroken in order to install this, however mine is not. So I was wondering if the update will jailbreak the device for you or you need to go and jailbreak the device on your own?

You must jailbreak the device to install this, but it is easy to jailbreak.

First if your device is on 4.0.1 or below, just open your safari browser and navigate to jailbreakme.com and just follow the on screen instructions, no computer needed!

otherwise if you are on 4.2.1 you can use redsn0w to jailbreak your device.

I turned back the time on my iphone like many people said for the download. The problem is I was able to download maybe 2 of the pokemon games without it coming up with an error, but when I went to play them all I got was a black screen. Help?
