My internet has been absolutely horrid lately, constant lag spikes. I've tried resetting the router and modem?
I was wondering if the problem could be with a person in the household who uses 1 laptop, 2 desktops an iPad, iPhone all to play an app game called mobile strike, I'm wondering if his constant refreshing of the game on all those devices is why my bandwidth is garbage.

Probably the reason. With no clue which service you connect to, what level of bits per second you have been guaranteed, can't guess.
Most services of the higher level offer a "burst mode" of very high level to get over a simple Internet page or a single picture. Buffering of larger files like songs and movies is common after that burst.
An update could be a very long and large loading in the bandwidth. Doing that on multiple devices might dominate the loading of your router and connection.

- My iPhone 6 has been acting a bit weird lately? I'll be texting a few people on imessaging or kik, and I'll have to double tap the home button. Sometimes when I double tap, it brings me to what looks like my home screen, but with no apps, just the wallpaper I have set. When I press the home button again, nothing happens. I have to restart my phone. This can happen up to 3,4, or even 5 times a day. What does this mean? Is something wrong with my iPhone? I have the newest updates installed btw.
