Internet on laptop randomly disconnects?
Whenever I turn on my laptop (compaq, windows 7), it'll connect to my wireless internet. After a while of being on it, it'll randomly disconnect and tell me "no connects are available". The strange thing is that my iPad and iPhone works perfectly with the internet and never disconnects. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
Please try this: On right and side of your screen at the bottom right click on the network icon (Wi-Fi icon) the thing with 5 bars. Then press troubleshoot see if this works if not go to Wi-Fi settings forget the network and enter your security code in again.
- Wi-Fi Disconnects on Iphone 4? I'm using my iphone 4 as basically an iPod, because it no longer has service. I have Wi-Fi which i use for texting, etc. Sometimes the internet just randomly stops, but the Wi-Fi signal still shows at the top of my phone. I have to continuously go into my settings app and turn off Wi-Fi and turn it back on. I have tried resetting my network settings. Nothing.
- My laptop randomly shut off and now it won't turn back on? What's wrong with it? Do I have to buy a new one? I'm so confused. P.S. I'm typing this from my iPhone. I took the battery out and now it's working again. Yea! If I put the battery back in though, will it still work?
- My internet connection randomly drops until I disconnect and reconnect to the router? My internet connection randomly drops until I disconnect my computer from the router then reconnect. It is only the internet connection that drops, the router signal/connection remains and my NAS can still be accessed. Sometimes it goes hours without loosing connection, sometimes it's minutes. I'm using a macbook pro with mountain lion installed, and the same issue occurs with my iphone. My network set up is essentially the modem > switch > router > laptop/iphone.
- Iphone 5c constantly disconnects from the internet? My daughters Iphone 5c constantly disconnects from the internet, it doesn't matter if its my home Wi-Fi, other Wi-Fi's or my phones internet. It had been working fine from december but the last 4 or so week's it disconnects every 2-3 mins. It has all the latest updates & I just need some help if there's a solution for this as the phone is only 4months old & i'm not happy about paying for a phone that doesn't work.
