Internet videos not working properly on iPhone 4S?

Every time I try to play a video from the internet it is VERY laggy and comes through as like a very ungraceful slideshow. I have tried on multiple different internet provisions, multiple different browsers, and multiple different websites. They do this same thing on any combination of these, coming to the conclusion that my phone is screwed. Would IOS 9 help at all? I haven't updated yet. (My current version is 7.1.2)

Throw it in acid it will take away the virus

It sounds like a hardware problem, so yes i would recommend a new phone, it might be because of some conflicting software (I doubt it though) I don't see a way to generally fix it.

I tried to play doodle jump but the iPhone acts like I'm constantly titling to the right side. But I'm not. And I do have experience with apple products, so I know how to work the iPhone, but I just can't seem to figure out what's wrong. I had also put a Lifeproof case on it, could that be affecting the phone?
