IOS 5 Firmware On iPhone 3G?

I'm Probably One Of Those Crazy People Who Still Have An iPhone 3G. But As I Hear Of You Can't Upgrade To IOS 5 On The iPhone 3G. But I'm A Apple Developer Who Has The IOS 5 Firmware. My Question Is Could I Put That Firmware On My iPhone 3G? Or Will That Break It?

I don't no! How can you get in on it if it won't go on it?

And if you're an Apple can't you afford a newer iPhone?

Everyone has the ios 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 firmware, but you can only put 4.2.1 on the iphone 3g, no higher

You can't get iOS 5 on a 3G. 4.2.1 is the limit.
