IOS 7 Problems with Facetime?

Alright my mom's iPhone, my iPhone, and my mom's iPad are all connected through my apple account, and I keep on getting her Facetime calls and she's getting mine, even after I went to settings on all 3 devices and changed it so my mom can't get my calls/messages and that certain Facetime calls can be sent only to me.
I haven't gotten her messages or calls, but I'm still getting her facetime calls and she's still getting mine.
Is there anyway I can fix the Facetime issues, other than make her a separate Apple account.

I think this is a IOS 7 problem because this didn't happen before IO7.

(Side Note: The iPad is still IOS6 and our phones are both iPhone 4S)

Use separate Apple IDs. Any device using a given Apple ID is considered to be the same person. You can also try restricting FaceTime to mobile numbers instead of Apple IDs, but this isn't an option for the iPad, which has no number.

  • Why would Apple make FaceTime only compatible with iOS devices? It doesn't make sense what if someone has an Android! Then FaceTime is useless to the person with the iPhone who wants to video chat with the person with the Android. Someone please tell me why Apple did this, I know it's a stupid question but its bugging me

Any It is pretty upsetting that I've had so many issues with it in the last couple of days considering some of my friends can't talk on the telephone so our main means of communication is through FaceTime and it is constantly reconnecting… What can I do? I had NO issues WHATSOEVER until iOS 6. I'm thoroughly disappointed with this.ugh. I did find something on apple's website of others having the same issue.
