Ipad activation lock?
So basically my mum got an ipad a while ago but she pretty much gave it to me to use, my brother asked if he could use it for a while so my mum let him and he ended up putting his icloud acc on it and then resetting it so now its activation locked.
He won't put in his password to unlock it because he 'doesn't remember it' and just brushes me off anytime i ask him to unlock it.
So my question is: is there any way to unlock it? Like can i call apple tech support and have them help or is there nothing i can do?
You could jail break it
Only way is by entering the password. If he forgot it then he can reset his password from Apple's website.
This activation lock is an anti-theft feature, it would be pointless if you can bypass it
- Who can tell me how to get past that activation lock on iPhone 5s? I have proof of purchase to an iPhone 5s I purchased from eBay. Apple informed me that they or my phone provider could bypass the activation lock and that is why I purchased the phone for a better price than buying brand new. Then neither the Apple store nor AT&T could help me with my problem. The seller hasn't been much of a help and will not give me the information I need to get past the activation lock, is there another way?

I want to know the difference between these term - blacklisted, bad imei and activation lock and for a iphone should i buy any phone that is blacklisted, bad imei or activation lock is it possible to bypass it… In the past i have bypass sim activation so is this possible as well?

My iPhone I bought a few months ago was jailbroken/unlocked but when I wanted to restore the iPhone and remove the jailbreak and such, it got stuck on the Activation Screen. Well he failed to tell me that I needed his username or password to actually use the phone, and I have no contact with this person. Is there any way to get past this or am I out of 80$?
