Yeah thats normal, Apple like to say its total memory because it makes it look better. For example my old ipod touch says 8gb when in itunes it says something like 6.2gb available. The other memory is used for iOS and the built in apps. Third party apps (ones you download from the app store) are counted for in the used memory. Not the system memory
- Will a 16GB iPhone 5 have 16GB of space? I want to get an iPhone 5 and the 16GB will suffice, however I'm concerned about the actual space. I have a 32GB iPod Touch but according to iTunes the maximum space available is 28.5GB. Could I expect this sort of thing to happen on the iPhone?
- Why do I have only 5gb of iCloud storage? I bought the 108gb version of the iPhone 7 plus. I bought that thinking I would have 108gb of storage for picture/games etc but it said it's almost full. What is the point of paying extra for 108gb if it goes by iCloud storage.

- My photos and camera in settings is taking up 5GB Okay, so when I go to settings>general>usage on my iphone I noticed that it said that my photos and camera is taking 5GB of my memory but I don't have any photos as I've deleted all of them! Any ideas to why this is happening, thanks It's an iphone and could someone please tell me how to fix this?
