Iphone 3G: Does phone have to be activated to use Wi-Fi?
Have old 3G. Have anther phone for calls. Wanted to see if Wi-Fi
could work without activation? Have tried to connect to router doesn't connect.
I had just got rid of my 3G, and when I took out my SIM card, I was still able to go in Wi-Fi.
No. Use my old 3GS that way. Reset the data connections on the phone and restart it. Best luck.
Thanks… Needed to confirm didn't need to be activated.
My problem was I have to toogle Wi-Fi enable off to on to refresh.
Then I was able to Wi-Fi.
- Straighttalk iPhone SIM activation for already Straighttalk activated phone? It says I need a $45 service plan card to activate the SIM card, but is there a way to do it without? My phone has $45 service plan active right now, my SIM card is just malfunctioning, so I need a new one. Or do I have to do it when I refill, no other option?
- Is it possible to use the same apple ID for a new phone but not have everything from the old phone transfer over? I was just wondering because I will be getting a new iPhone and I want to still use my current apple ID, but have a clean slate and choose what transfers over.
- I've lost my iPhone and it didn't have find my phone turned on. Is it still possible to find it? I have the same Apple ID on that phone Both iPhone 7s (one is with me the other one is lost) Doesn't have SIM card inserted Nor find my iPhone or find friends are turned on
