Is it possible to use the same apple ID for a new phone but not have everything from the old phone transfer over?
I was just wondering because I will be getting a new iPhone and I want to still use my current apple ID, but have a clean slate and choose what transfers over.
You can go to your Apple account and erase your information so it doesn't transfer over to the new phone make sure that you take the old phone off of the account if you plan on selling the phone. If you sell the phone without doing that somebody's going to be mighty angry when I try to activate the phone and it reports itself as stolen

- Different phone but same sim number so will I have my old contacts stored or no? My iphone 6s broke so I will be having an iphone 5 instead as a temporary phone. I can easily ask through social media numbers yet I'm just wondering. Will have phone on Thursday.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- If I put my old SIM card into my new iPhone will everything still remain the same? I just want my number to stay the same and my tariff/package that I pay for every month to stay the same? Need a bit advice, I currently have an iPhone 6s at the moment. I'm not too fussed about keeping all my photos etc cos tbh most of them are on Facebook but as long as my number and monthly package stays the same that's all I'm bothered about
- I've lost my iPhone and it didn't have find my phone turned on. Is it still possible to find it? I have the same Apple ID on that phone Both iPhone 7s (one is with me the other one is lost) Doesn't have SIM card inserted Nor find my iPhone or find friends are turned on
