IPhone 3GS 2 yrs old - info gone?
When I go to my main screen - the time, Wi-Fi etc information disappears. When I'm in safari or messages the info comes back. Why is this?
Throw it away
The phone may have software problems maybe you coud do a full restore? This may sort your problem out? But before you do this have you tried a soft reset? Try holding down the lock button and the home button for ten seconds until the apple logo appears then release.
This may be all you have to do to get the phone working again, but if all these things fail then i would suggest a trip to the apple store who i'm pretty sure will be able to fix the problems for you.
Try to reboot your phone and see if it goes away?
If you haven't upgraded your iOS, try to upgrade it to the latest iOS 6 (which supports iPhone 3GS). The problem should go away I believe.
- Will info still be on my old iphone when I transfer to a new iphone? I recently just got the iphone 5S and I wanted to start it off as a 'new iphone' with no imported data from my old iphone4. However, if I do this, will my data and information, (notes, contacts, pictures, etc.), still be on my old iphone4?
- Which is more accurate regarding the details of an iphone, iphoneimei.info or imei.info? When I look up the IMEI of my broken iphone 5s on iphoneimei.info it says it's 16gb and when I look it up on imei.info it says it's 32gb… Which site is more accurate? The iphone is stuck in recovery mode and will not power on unless connected and it won't tell me the storage capacity in itunes.
- Old iPhone with old sim card? Mum just got a new iPhone, so gave her old one to my sister. My sister did not have an appropriate sized sim card, so they guy at the store cut it down. Mum's new sim card is working, but when we put my sisters in the old phone, it just keeps saying no service. What do we do? Can we use it or not?
- Iphone 3GS Safari App Gone? My Safari app has disappeared from my phone, I know it hasn't been deleted because I know they can't be deleted from the phone, I have checked the whole home screen but its disappeared?! I even typed it in on my "search phone" thing and it says that I have no Safari app. I don't know what's going on, should I go into an Apple store and try to get them to fix it?
