IPhone 4 8gb problem! No more space?

Okay, so I have the iPhone 4 and I was so excited to update to iOS 7.It says I need 3.7 gb to update. I deleted everything up like 20 photos that take up 174 mb. I need.4 more gb to update. But, there's nothing left to delete! It says I have 3 gb being used but there I nothing to be deleted. I have the iPhone 4 8gb btw. Please someone help me!

Delete apps, cookies in Safari browser, messages, history, or just factory reset your phone.

A lot of the space is taken by updates and ***.

  • Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.

Sometimes it gets lagged when opening app such as line, path or instagram. Does the phone memory affect the performance too? Currently there's 2, 1 gb of free space in my phone. I don't put any musics in it. I only use my phone for communication and social media and gallery as well. Anyone know well about ios and iphone, your help is very appreciative.
  • More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
  • My 8GB iphone 4 only has 6, 4GB space? Why does my Iphone only have 6, 4 GB? Does it have to do because I have Jailbroken it? BTW, I calculated the Usage and its only 900 MB and it says I've used 3GB
