Iphone 4 as an ipod not working anymore?

So i updated my itunes to the new version and well the iphone i have that i was using as an ipod for the past 2 years now is asking for activation. Is there a way to bypass this?

i was thinking of using my friends sim card to activate it or something but i don't know

just asking for some help please

My iPhone 4S does the same thing just means you can't use it as a phone. You can still use it as an iPod. Just tap "ignore" on the activation pop up

  • Why isn't my Wi-Fi working anymore on my Iphone 4S? It just suddenly stopped working. I mean, only if I have the phone 2 feet or less from the router, only then it will connect to Wi-Fi. If I'm more than 2 feet away, it won't find the router. It's not just on my router at home. It's happening with my mom's router too and I'm in a different state. Anyone know what the issue is?
  • Updated my iphone and sim card not working anymore? I recently updated my iphone 6plus and the sim card inserted in the phone is not working anymore. The device kept on showing "no sim card installed". But when i insert that sim card on my iphone X, it works.
  • Keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer etc.not working but iPod is? (iPhone 4s)? I've had my iPhone for about 6 months and the buttons on the left hand side have stopped working, the keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer, alerts and app sounds don't work through the speaker but music will play through the speaker. All of my sound setting are turned on but still no sound? Vibrate works but sound would be pretty helpful.
