IPhone 4 Battery Changing Problem?
I recently ordered a new higher capacity battery for my iPhone 4. I had the phone off, & when i attached the new battery, it didn't do anything but after a few seconds it sparked and let out some smoke. I immediately took the battery out and put the old one back in, and the phone and old battery still works fine.
Is the new battery broken? Or is that okay?
IPhones are designed so that only a professional apple technician can replace the battery. You should go to them to replace the battery.
The new battery is probably broken and shouldn't be used or you risk ruining your phone.
I didn't even know you could change or remove the iPhone 4 battery. If the hi capacity battery was not from Apple, then the problem was with the new battery. At least it didn't ruin your phone. See if you can get a refund.

- Iphone battery/charger problem? So I have this Iphone 4s for about 3/4 months now an one night before i went sleep i put it on charge then when i wake up it was dead. I placed it on charge the icon show on top it was charging but not in middle. And it took forever to charge an battery drain fast as hell, and now its stuck on 1% I think I tried one of the reset where reset the media and etc.

On my phone i have a bunch of songs and i turned of home sharing with my friend. So i got all of her songs to. i'm ok with that.anyways on my ipad i have all the songs I bought. - Iphone 4s Wi-Fi problem? Anybody else have this problem? So i have an iphone 4s from bell canada. Its a great phone but i have a problem with my Wi-Fi. when i turn my Wi-Fi ON it will work fine. But after 4 or 5 minutes continuous working, it will stop working. and i have to turn it OFF and then turn it ON again for later browsing. i can't even see the full length youtube video of 5 minutes, because it will stop working in the mid of the video any help
