Iphone 4 dataless navigation app?
I'm going to backpack around Europe and desperately need a navigation app to keep me from getting lost! I have an iphone 4 and it will be dataless (no internet connection). Also, it will rarely have Wi-Fi.
Any suggestions? I heard it's possible to use the internal gps (assuming that doesn't use data) and get step-by-step directions.
I don't think it is possible to use gps without using data.sorry.
1. There's a thing called google and App Store to look for. 2. I don't think there are dataless navigation app cus it has to constantly load directions.
- Why is Live Traffic on Iphone maps not showing up during navigation? When I use Apple Maps it only shows live traffic when I'm not using the turn by turn mode. As soon as I start it to give me directions the traffic data goes away. Anyway to fix this? I have turned on the traffic. Hence why it shows up before I start the turn by turn. The traffic data vanishes once its giving me directions
- Which iOS navigation app should I download for finding new dirt roads? There are a ton of dirt roads where I live at, but I want to find some new ones to ride. Anyone know of a good iPhone app that shows which roads are dirt roads (unpaved)? There's Navigation by Telenav, MotionX GPS app, a TomTom and Garmin app, etc. But I'm not sure which one would be the right one for finding dirt roads. Basically, I want one that actually shows you that it's not a paved road. Anyone have any experience with these apps or know of one that would do what I want?
- What are the best paid satellite navigation apps for the iphone 4? I'm looking for an iphone sat nav application that is good all round, and has handy features such as speed limit alert speed camera alert, traffic alert lane assist, easy to use interface with postcode and POI search. I know tom tom seems to be the top, and there's a free one I downloaded called navfree which is surprisingly good for a free app, just wondering if there are any other ones worth considering?
- Need an offline navigation app for iphone 5? I need an app that uses ofline navigation or stores maps in the phone. Can someone give me any suggestions or gift me anyting. Please I really need help for routing.
