Iphone 4 monthly bill verizon?

I'm going to get a job starting next week and i was wondering how much is the iphone 4 if i have an upgrade available how much would it cost? 16GB with unlimited texting, talk, and access to the internet would it be cheaper if i went on my own plan? Do i need to be over 18 to have my own plan or do i need parent permission.

I say DO NOT get a phone on a contract. Or monthly bill! You will get in lots of trouble if you for some reason can't pay a bill. I say, buy a prepaid phone. With prepaid all you have to do is pay for the phone once. When you buy the phone, you buy it inactivated. Then you would go out and buy a Virgin Mobile card from a Gas Station or Store. Then type in the code from the back of the card to activate it. Or you can just never activate it and use Wi-Fi to text and call. After 30 days the phone will be deactivated because it has expired. You can either keep it deactivated and activate when ever you would like or you could refill the phone with another card right after it expires.
