IPhone 4 not charging/turning on?

Okay so when I go to turn on my iPhone it doesn't turn on, when I plug it into charge, from the mains or from my laptop, the apple logo comes up, the screen goes black and it just repeats this. It has been dropped. Just wondering if this is fixable, and if it is if you can tell me how that would be great.

You got a cheap phone

IPhones are all enclosed so it would be hard to see what part is actually faulty.

This is why apple just hand you a new iPhone.

It could be fixable depending on the fault found.

If you have home insurance give them a call sometimes the policy's protect mobiles.

Hope this helps

  • Wouldn't turning off iPhone while charging shorten battery life? They say the iPhone has a battery life of 400 full charge cycles before it starts its decline. Ok here is the thing… A lot of talk on how to save battery life on the iPhone by charging habits such as turning the phone off while charging, airplane mode while charging, turn off Wi-Fi bluetooth etc… But if the phone charges faster… Wouldn't that increase the amount of full charge/discharge cycles and there for decreasing the life of the battery?
  • Why isn't my iPhone 4 turning on or charging? Nothing has happened to it. It randomly shut off when I wasn't looking and when I picked it up it wouldn't turn on or charge. I Can't try and reboot it with the home and lock buttons because my lock button is broken. How can I fix this, it won't even connect to the computer
  • Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?
  • IPhone charging cable not supported but still charging? I have a genuine Apple cable that came with my iPhone 6 (updated to the latest iOS). It fully charges up but when it gets to 100% I get a message that says "this accessory may not be supported". I don't see any damage to the cable and I have only had it a couple of months. Not sure whether to just ignore it or not?
