Iphone 4 not making lock sounds, typing sounds.ect
I bought a new iphone 4 a couple days ago, brand new. Its not making a lock screen noise, making sounds when I type, when I get a message on facebook and it also don't make noise for my kik messenger. It was just working the other day. It plays music out loud and also when I go to ringtones it makes it, so I know its not a speaker problem. It wants to update, can that be the problem? I'm waiting for it to update now.
I tried resetting the sound settings also.
Added (1). Found the prob. It was the which above volume switches.
Have you gone to the settings for general and sounds. If haven't then do so. If this doesn't work, I suggest you to call your carrier.
Try the buttons on the side of the phone. It looks like a square. That works for me! When my iPhone 4 wants to update I just put update and its all better so maybe it's supposed to be updated!
- Why is my keyboard not making sounds on my iPhone? So my keyboard won't make those clicky noises, and my phone won't make that noise when I lock it. I also don't get a sound when I receive mail:/ I've tried to turn the switched on and off, reset my settings, and adjust my volume. Nothin has worked so far. How can I fix it?
- My 'Touch Speaker Boombox' is making weird clicking sounds So today I just bought my Touch Speaker Boombox, and when I place my iPhone 4 on, the music quality is fine but a clicking sound can be heard. It's also like the clicking sound is part of the music, as when the volume is turned up the clicking gets louder, but it isn't. Any other phone/tablet is ok, it's just my iPhone 4. Anyone else have this problem or can help?

- Keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer etc.not working but iPod is? (iPhone 4s)? I've had my iPhone for about 6 months and the buttons on the left hand side have stopped working, the keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer, alerts and app sounds don't work through the speaker but music will play through the speaker. All of my sound setting are turned on but still no sound? Vibrate works but sound would be pretty helpful.
