Iphone 4 Pressing home button by itself?
I bought an phone 4 from ebay for my birthday and on the first day it was fine but sometimes now it does all these crazy things, almost like someone else is pressing the home button. For Example When it's on lock the screen will come back on and if i'm using an app it will go off of it and sometimes onto the screen that sows all your running apps. Also voice control comes up allot and it's very annoying.
I upgraded to ios7 and have the iphone 4, which I bought from ebay. Do you think the phone is faulty or ios7 messed it up an how do i fix it?

It's likely iOS7 glitches. They did a complete remodel on the system. There have been various glitches with various devices. Seeing as apple doesn't give downloads of past software, you can't downgrade back. ATM there isn't a way to fix this, but there should be as soon as apple releases the next update, which will hopefully be in a few weeks. But if you really want to stop it for the time being, I believe that there's a home button app that temporarily disables the home button and replaces it with a circle in the corner of the screen that is there at all times.
- Pressing my home button on my iphone4 doesn't minimize apps? I just purchased a used iphone4 since mine was stolen, however with this new iphone i have now pressing the home button doesn't minimize apps i'm on, like photos or anything, i have to press it multiple times or hold it, is there a setting for this or is my home button broken?
- My iPhone 5 is acting as if I'm pressing the home button repeatedly It keeps exiting out of my apps, turning on and off Siri over and over again, changing color- basically it's executing all the functions the home button does. Thing is, I'm not pressing the home button. I've tried googling the problem but haven't found any solutions. Help please? I'm unable to do anything on my phone currently.

I did drop it in water like 2 weeks ago but I made sure all the water came out, my step mom dropped her phone in the toilet like a year ago and till this day it works perfectly fine! IIm afraid my home button will completely stop working soon enough, and i don't currently have money to replace it. I really only need the home function, but it would be really nice if it also had a screenshot function (because screenshots need the home + lock combo) Edit: If it makes any difference, my phone is an iPhone 3GS (old, lol) and has iOS 6.1.6.
