IPhone 4 Shows No Signs of Charging But Still Charges, Then Dies Very Easily?
My unlocked AT&T iPhone 4 was dissected by my tech savvy boyfriend so he could replace my front screen, but when he put it back together it had no service. He then dissected it again, tweaked something, and put it back together a second time and the service issue was fixed. Now the problem is that whenever I plug the phone into anything (wall, laptop, car) it does not show that it is charging at all, but the battery does slowly charge. But whenever I disconnect it, the battery dies very quickly. I went from 97% to 87% in two minutes of Facebooking this morning, for example, so you could imagine my frustration from a whole nights worth of charging only for a couple hours of a working phone. On the other hand, I did get the phone from eBay and it was slightly used when I bought it.
Did my boyfriend mess something up when he took it apart, and should I have him do it again, or has my phone battery just reached the end of it's run?
Replacing the front screen shouldn't affect the battery at all… Maybe you should try using a different charger. Or getting a new phone. The iPhone 4 is pretty old
The problem might be with battery. Actually apple advices to replace the battery of your iPhone every two years, and since you have an iphone 4 that was released in 2010 so its battery is 3 years old. I think you should take it to any apple care center or some specialist that can perform this replacement of battery professionally…
For #1 that's why its highly recommended you DO NOT SCREW with factory setting of that sort if it was meant to do those thing they would have included them! Trust me there not saving money by not giving u allot of those options, #2 u only do it when a pro does it (AKA someone that's done it many times on the SAME model, #3 those hack changes (they may call it unlock to make you feel safe like your just unlocking its potential witch is the fact in many cases but not in most but bottom line its a hack and hacking is unsafe period) will cause your devise to think differently most of the time not the way its supposed to (that's why things sit so long in testing period, people that make those so called unlocking programs r usually shifty for one and two don't do excessive testing (witch costs ALLOT of money) so if its free you should clue in there if it costs then its usually a bit safe do to the fact there just trying to make a little of the money they put into it back. In the cyber age its no longer physical effort that gets u paid but collective info.anyway #4 HOPEFULLY you have backed your phone up and not through the hacking/unlocking program but though a cloud service or your devises make company or even through your provider there are many many ways to do so. The super simple answer is…
ANSWER- A-find a paid hack B-reset your devise to factory and load up your backup.

- Why do I do this? I'm very very very tired yet I don't want to sleep? I want to sleep because I'm practically blinking and bobbing my head side to side like a drunken man but I just don't want to sleep. I watch tv or go on Facebook or play on my iPhone. And I'm starting to get dark circles. And as a guy I don't wear. Concealer or whatever
- What happens when you send an iMessage to someone who has an iPhone, the messages show that it was delivered, but then it shows nothing? I was sending messages to my friend through my iPhone, it showed that it was "delivered" each time, and then out of nowhere I sent a few more and it showed nothing? I can't tell whether the remaining few messages were sent or not. Does that mean I was blocked? Is there a problem with the cellular data on my end or on my friend's end? Was my friend's phone not on? What could it be and how can I tell?
- My iphone screen is very dark, but if I look very close, I see the apps slightly? My iphone screen is very dark but I still see the buttons slightly, but I have to look very closely in order to. It is definitely not the brightness, because the brightness is set to 100% and its way too dark anyway. I tried restoring my phone and turning it on and off, but nothing is working. Please help. What do I do? I literally threw it out of anger and its fixed.
