IPhone 4 sometimes randomly dies?

It doesn't do this often (thankfully), but sometimes my iPhone randomly dies or loses a lot of battery for no reason. It will go from 70% to 40%, or sometimes 30% to 0%, when I'm not doing anything on it. I always turn off my apps after I use them, so nothing's on, and I rarely use Wi-Fi. Should I get my phone checked out?

I had the same issue with my iPhone 4. I sent it off to iPhoneFixed.co.uk which are based in Cardiff. They replaced the battery and checked to see if the iPhone was effected by water. The chap I emailed at iPhoneFixed said that a battery on the iPhone usually lasts just over a year and at best 2 years. I think it cost me around £30 and they use original Apple batteries. A year on ad my iPhone is still going strong. I know they sell the parts for the iPhone 4 also, so you can fit it yourself, its cheaper.   • Why on my iphone does it sometimes show texts in green, and sometimes in red? I have a iphone 4s, my son has iphone 5. Sometimes when i text him, the text appears in green, and sometimes it appears in blue. Does anyone know why this is?
  • Why does my iphone sometimes connect to Itunes and sometimes can't? Sometimes i can connect my iphone to my computer and it says iphone apple device. But sometimes it says device unknown? Can anyone help on this? Also, my Itunes need to open so my iphone can connect. I don't know why.
  • Why does my iPhone dies on its own, but when i plug it in, it's half charged? So my iphone keeps "dieing" out on me, but it is half way charged when i plug it in, it is so annoying, what can i do? someone please help x_x i don't have any apps running in the background i'm always closing them, my phone is about 1 month old, bought it from someone, and they hardly used it (i could see by no scratches on the phone) i use a blackberry wall plug in with the normal apple chargers. i don't know what else to do
  • My new iPhone 4s Battery dies quickly? I got my white iPhone 4s a few days ago and I feel like the battery runs out pretty quickly… I turn the brightness down and completely shut down all off the applications at the bottom, but I feel like it still doesn't last very long… It'll go from 100 to 65 within a few hours… My sister has the black one and she says hers doesn't die too quickly. Any suggestions?
