Iphone 4 speakers crackling?
Just a few hours ago my iphone speakers started making a weird crackling sound, I tried I play music but when it plays the weird sound plays with it, even when some calls me it makes a weird sound with the ringtone, I don't know if the person who calls me can hear it but it still sounds weird when anything that invokes the speakers sound weird and crackly.
If anyone knows what's wrong or how to fix it tell me, I would really appreciate it.
It seems that you might of done some water damage, cause this happened to me before. I always use to listened to music while taking showers and after a while the speakers did the same as yours with the crackling popping noise and unfortunately a few weeks after the speakers completely stopped working. Also to let you know i had the iPhone 4s and i just got a new iPhone 5c due to the speakers not working on my iPhone 4s. So did you ever use a place with high moisture or steam? If it is water damage your probably better off buying a new phone due to the high price they will charge for the fix or unless you have insurance on the phone then you just bring the phone in. - Would my iphone or speakers blow? During tech in school i made speakers which are very very loud. That to keep the volume stop from blasting my ears i have to leave it on half-full on the iphone. I connect the external speakers i made to my iphone and i was wondering because its so loud. If i play very loud music through it would my iphone blow out. I have a feeling that my speakers will as they are tiny but would my iphone get damaged because of it.

- Some water came onto iphone, now speakers don't work? If i play music or want to get text tone i can't hear anything unless i use the headphones then it works. But by it self it does not work although i can record a voice memo and then hear it back. BUT why can I not hear music or hear the text tone?
