IPhone 4 started to shock me when on charge?

Over the past week I've noticed that my iPhone 4 has started to shock me when it's on charge (via my laptop and wall). A few days ago it shocked my finger and today, whilst listening to to radio, it shocked my lip!

I also noticed the other that it seemed to be vibrating whilst on charge, I'm not tech expert, but that's not right, is it?

I don't live near any Apple stores, so I can't take it to get checked. Any ideas?

Sounds like something is wrong with the battery. The problem might go away but chances are it comes back and something worse happens to the phone. I would highly suggest going to an apple store so they can run diagnostics on the phone.

  • Where do you get the best shock absorbant cases for Iphone 5s? I mean like heavy duty rubber or silicone I guess in the case it were dropped on a hard surface. I looked on amazon
  • My iPhone is stolen and 2-Year contract is just started? I bought a new iPhone 5 at the discounted price of $199 in NJ. Unfortunately, I lost my phone while travelling. My two-Year contract is just started and I'm not using that phone now. What are the consequences of not paying the bill or what is the procedure to cancel the plan?
  • My iPhone (3GS) randomly started playing a song and turning voice control on today? Today, when I was in second period at school, my iPhone randomly started playing a song from my library. In third period, while doing an assessment, voice control turned on. At lunch, I turned my phone off and took it out of my back and put it in my inside blazer pocket. It might be a new bag I started using today that caused the problem. I really want to know how to stop this so I can stop worrying. (;
  • Is this little shock from an outlet something to worry about? I was trying to plug in an iphone charger. I was wiggling the plug around in front of the outlet. My fingers were touching both teh plug and the outlet, and I got a little shock that didn't really hurt, mostly just surprised me. The shock traveled about halfway up my elbow (probably 4 inches above my wrist.) Is this something to worry about? I think I'm completely fine, but I'm just making sure. It was my left hand. I mean, if I can type, I'm good, right?
