IPhone 4 still getting messages even after I activated on a different number?
I had an iPhone 4 now I have an iPhone 5. I activated my iPhone 5 today. At first my messages sent to both phones then to the iPhone 5 which was just activated and now they re being sent to my old iphone. What do I do?
Turn the old phone off restart the new phone
Perhaps you have imessage enable… WHICH… Does not matter if you have new number or not because your Apple ID is the same… People can still text to your phone if you use the imessage…
Or give it time… The system still not yet complete the transfer process.
- Why is mobile sending number different to my number? I recently bought an Iphone and did a sim swap so I could keep my phone number. Everything has been ok. However, when I send an imessage it shows the recipient a different number to mine. I don't think this happens when I send a SMS. Presumably it's the original number for the new sim? Why is this?
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting in 2015? Is it getting obsolete? My mom might be considering on getting me an iPhone, but she said that i Can't get a 6. She might be getting me a 5s instead. I don't know when yet though. How many years will Apple support software updates? It is already almost two years old and is it still a worth getting?
- If I buy an iPhone from someone's else, can they still report it stolen after I've already activated it? For example: if I buy a phone from a girl on Facebook, then go to T-Mobile and it's clean, not iCloud locked, not stolen, ready to be activated. Then I activate it. Can that person then report it? Even after it's already set up with T-Mobile as active
