Iphone 4 stuck in recovery loop

After my iphone crashed while I was trying to upgrade to ios 6, i can't restore my phone. I keep getting error message (-1). Anyone have a fix for this?

Have you tried Tinyumbrella to kill the loop?

Mine did same thing! Mine is looping the Apple logo boot screen. I can't restore mine either… Tried doing a hard reset using iTunes & just keeps giving me error messages. My phone is original AT&T phone, NOT JAILBROKEN phone. I called AT&T, all they can tell me is to connect to iTunes & do a hard reset, which isn't working & gave error message.   • Why is my iphone 5 stuck in a recovery mode loop? I dropped it in the toilet for about 2 second and then quickly pulled it out (i know it was stupid) but then i washed it off cause it was covered in pee. I took it apart and i put it in a bag of rice for a day. Then i blew it out with an air Compressor. I put it back together and plugged it in. I was wondering if anyone knew about any third party apps or anything that will help.

  • Jailbroken iphone stuck in recovery loop? One of my friends at school jailbroke my iphone 3g a long time ago and it was cool until i went to update and restore it. Now its stuck in a endless recovery loop with a screen with a picture of a usb chord below the itunes symbol. I tried going into dfu mode that didn't work. Ok i downloaded a app called folders in folder and it got stuck in a boot loop so i waited and it finally went back to normal after like 6 hours so i deleted folders in folders and it worked fine then after that my mom and i took my iphone 4s into geek squad and they tried removing the jailbreak and got it stuck in a bootloop well it just came back on and it is still jailbroken all i want to do is remove the jailbreak get my phone working normal thanks
