IPhone 4 through school metal detector?
Okay. I already know the consequences so don't tell me "Don't do it"
and blah blah blah. I heard many kids out their phone in airplane mode or something
Airplane mode simply stops the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cellular radios from transmitting.
It does nothing to prevent detection by a metal detector.
A cell phone will set off a metal detector at the airport. Just put it in the tub before going through.
Nothing you can do to a cell phone - turning it off, painting red, wrapping it in banana leaves, whatever - makes it invisible to metal detectors.
I won't tell you not to do it. What should I care.
