IPhone 4 touch screen not responding - what needs replacing?
My iPhone 4 screen has been cracked for a while but the screen has still been responding. However, after another recent drop, half of the screen has now stopped responding to touches all together.
I need to get it repaired, and am planning to send it to a repair service that I have used on my old iPhone 3G, but I'm not sure if the service that they offer (Original Glass, Digitiser & Retina LCD Replacement) is what I need in order to get my touch screen working again.
Could someone confirm that this repair would not only replace the screen but get it working again too?
The screen needs to be replaced
The digitizer, and the rest of the components must be replaced. For 100-200$, Apple will fix your phone. Phone them to set it up for shipping, or go to the nearest Apple store. If you don't get your screen replaced through Apple, it will void your warranty.

- Replacing an iPhone touch screen yourself? Has anybody done this - was it easy and did it work ok afterwards? I don't really want to pay £50 to Apple for something I can buy on ebay for a fiver and fit myself!
- My IPhone screen is not responding? My mom was trying to take my phone so I was grabbing it and pulling it an away from her and when I got it back the screen was frozen and I couldn't go back to the home screen or even turn it off. After a while the whole screen turned black and now I can't do anything on it.
- My iPhone screen is not responding? - 1 It was cracked before very badly and I'm not sure if something got behind the screen because of how bad its cracked or if it's because of the cracks themselves or something completely different. Also, the day it did that I played music in the bathroom while showering and it was very steamy bc no fan in there, and it was slightly wet. Is that why?
- My Iphone 6 keeps freezing and not responding to touch screen? I've already looked on the Apple website and followed all of their instructions but nothing worked. My Iphone still doesn't respond to touch screen. I think it might have a virus what should I do?
