Iphone 4s help! Water damage?

Swam in the pool with it in my pocket. Did the rice thing for 3 days. Now today i thought it was toast but when i plugged it in it booted up regularly. And i was really excited. But i take a shower and come back out and I start it up but it had this NAND stuff when it was at the 'apple' loading/ booting up sign, but then it had an icon saying plug into itunes so i did it but now it has a blank grey screen with a thin white line through about a third of the screen. Is it really dead or can it be saved?

Your iphone needs more time to recover from he water. But if not then do a reformat on your phone through the computer.

Because of water your internal hardware were and needed to be dry which takes a little bit time. After dry of the water you should reformat through the computer.

  • My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?
  • Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
  • Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
