IPhone 4s need to be backed up while on recovery mode?
I have an iphone 4s ios 7.02 and the phone only turns on when connected to the wall but when connected to a computer it goes to the apple loo then shuts off then to a charging logo. I can't backup the stuff when it turns on when plugged to the wall because there's a Wi-Fi problem where i can't connect to Wi-Fi and can't connect to a 3g network. So i don't have a backup of it. I need to back up the stuff without restoring or deleting it. Plus i have tried to restore but gives me error: 4031 or something like that. Its a hopeless case but i know there's a way i just want to connect it to the computer back it up and throw this phone away unless if there's another way but i don't want to replace the battery or anything
Reset the phone. While NOT connected to a computer hold down the power and home button at the same time until you get an Apple logo.
You may have to run recovery mode. That will wipe the phone. Basically do a reset while it is connected to a computer while iTunes is open.
- Iphone will not restore from recovery mode? I tried to restore my iphone via itunes but is now stuck in recovery mode. I press 'Restore' on itunes and it downloads the software (takes about half an hour!) and then nothing happens. There's no error message or anything. I've tried this several times now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and I've tried turning off my firewall. Nothing has worked so far and my phone is out of action. Any ideas?
- IPhone has detected an iPhone in recovery mode, Will I lose pictures? It say I must restore the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. The screen on phone only has a plug into iTunes logo on it. I need to make sure my pics are backed up but Can't get into phone to check. Is there a way to stop mandatory restore?
- Iphone 5c stuck in recovery mode and Itunes won't recognize the phone, or that its in recovery mode? I tried updating to IOS 8 and it has the connect to itunes screen. Well i plugged it into my computer and opened itunes and got no notifications or anything. I really don't know what to do. I've seen online something about DFU mode… But i don't know what that is, is it jailbreaking? Will it erase my phone? Also. My phone is not backed up so help please.
- IPhone 4 stuck in recovery mode? My phone wouldn't connect to iTunes so I tried to restore it. But somehow it's stuck in the recovery mode with the USB cord pointing towards the iTunes symbol now. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's not a jailbroken phone.
