Iphone 4s or 5? 64gb versions?

Could anyone please tell if there's much difference between the 4s and 5 in performance?

64 gb 4s can be found for £250 and 64gb 5 can be found for like £390!

I know i'm well behind on phones but my galaxy s3 is playing up loads and I can't afford to get the 5s!

I also need a large storage version hence why I can't afford 5s which is £709!

Anyone know of anywhere good to buy these phones from with out contract?

Will the discontinued iphone 5 be able to update ios versions? I have an iphone 5 and i'm about to upgrade depending on the answer to this question. I know that apple has discontinued the iphone 5, but does ghat mean i won't be able to upgrade to ios 7.1 or ios 8 when they come out? And if i upgrade to the 5c will that be able to ios 8?
Will T-Mobile have older versions of the iPhone? I have recently found out that T-Mobile has finally came to a deal to get the iPhone and I'm very excited because T-Mobile is cheap and affordable and actually has unlimited internet… Well the only problem with me is I do not want to really spend 200+ on the new iPhone but will T-Mobile have the iPhone 4s or the 4 because I still like those phones… And will they offer the same things that att and verizon offer for like 50 bucks or even free?
Will Find my iPhone work with different versions? My phone is on iOS 7 but my iPad is on iOS 6 still. Will my phone be able to find it? Help please I lost it and i need it for school.
Why do some games only work on new versions of the iphone? What is usually updated in the new i phones that makes it hard for games to be played on the older devices?
