IPhone 4s stuck in recovery loop and laptop won't recognize it?

I just got an iPhone 4s from someone for free (it has water damage cuz she was drunk and dropped it in vodka) it's stuck in the recovery loop and yes I did find videos on how to get it out of recovery loop but it's impossible because I can't connect my iPhone to the computer.
It was connected way earlier today but it won't work now. Anyone know what I can do?

Try a new dongle

If you can't shut it down, then try running out the battery, and try restarting the computer and itunes, and reconnecting the cable

I dropped it in the toilet for about 2 second and then quickly pulled it out (i know it was stupid) but then i washed it off cause it was covered in pee. I took it apart and i put it in a bag of rice for a day. Then i blew it out with an air Compressor. I put it back together and plugged it in. I was wondering if anyone knew about any third party apps or anything that will help.

  • My iphone is stuck in recovery mode, and iTunes won't recognize it? They don't recognize it neither in recovery mode and neither in DFU mode. Is there a way to ''hard reset'' or reboot it without itunes? This happened while i was trying to install ios 8 GM.

My iphone is out of battery so when i try to charge it apple logo comes up for about 5 seconds, and then it shows recovery mode, So i connected it to my windows pc itunes but since its out of battery it won't connect to itunes, Oh and when it shows recovery mode its supposed to charge but as soon as i take out plug it goes black screen and won't turn on(shuts down).
