IPhone 4s water damage. (Inside headphone jack)?

So When I first got an iPhone 4S it weren't working probably so the apple store replaced it for me, but the new one it stopped working probably to, I took it back to the apple store and they said I have water damage inside the headphone Jack, so when I put my headphones in it freezes parts of the song I'm listening to or will jump from lyric to lyric, does anyone know a way to resolve this without having to spend to much money - none if possible

Put it in rice.

  • What is the little hole besides the headphone jack on the iphone 4? Okay i have heard people with att that has an iphone say that if they stick a pin in the hole that a dim card tray will pop out. But my iphone is with sprint so i thought they didn't have sim cards so what will happen if i hit the button. * i'm not trolling this is my first time having anything from apple i'm a android person. * please no smart remarks!
  • Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
  • My new apple headphones broke inside my jack on my iPhone? I was able to remove the tip of the head phones from the jack but now my headphone jack dosnt work. What do I do?
  • Is my iPhone the cause of my headphone jack breaking? So I have an iPhone 4S and I was using these headphones for about a year and all the sudden the jack you plug in to the phone, bent. It wouldn't work anymore. I don't know how this happened, it may not have been my iPhone. However, now I have a new pair of headphones and I just want to make sure it isn't my phone doing this, could it be my phone or is that very unlikely?
