Iphone 4s won't charge after repair?
In the beginning (before I got it repaired) I noticed that my iphone 4s wasn't charging. I went to the Verizon store to see what the problem is but they said there was no water damage and I could go get it repaired. So they told me to try this repair place called Gameco. They man charged me $45 to troubleshoot my phone, he opened it up and said that my charging port was bad and needed to be replaced and he charged me $89. He fixed it in 2 days and called my friend to tell me that my phone was fixed but when I got to the place to pick it up me and the man tested it to charge and it wouldn't charge. He told me that it was charging before I came to pick it up. So after that I tried it at my home on my charger and it still wouldn't charge so I took it back to the place and he said that he will look at it again. It's been a week since I dropped it off again, I called him to check up on it and he told me that he still couldn't figure it out and he was still working on it. He also told me that it could be body damage but that's kind of impossible imo because I never dropped it. And I was just wondering if anyone knows what could be preventing my iphone from charging.
I'm not sure, but the best idea would be to bring it to an Apple store. They'll know how to fix it better than anyone else, and they might have other fixes for the problem. If there's not one in the area, try calling their customer support line. I wouldn't let this guy mess around with it at this point, you don't want it to get any worse.
Get your money bad. Have you tried a different charger?
- Will Apple Retail stores repair IPhones that won't charge? Yes I did ask this question before but i left out something very important. My IPhone isn't with a company. A friend gave it to me as a present and my parents haven't really argreed to turn it on yet. I don't have a warranty on my phone. Is it possible that they might still fix it? I've basically been using it as an IPod or something.
- Iphone 4 back plate won't fit after repair how do I fix it? I had to take apart my iphone 4 in order to fix the power button (it's out of warranty), everything went smoothly, except I can't get the back plate to fit back on properly. It seems like there's something that is in the way. I have taken it apart several times to try to make it fit but still no luck. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
- How much does Apple charge to repair my iPhone 4 screen? I heard it wa about 100 dollars. Is that worth it, or should I just replace it and get a new iphone? Or is there any cheaper place for screen repairs?
- How much does Apple charge to repair an iPhone 4s? No warranty. I would like to know an estimate price range. I don't feel very comfortable trying to do the repairs myself.
