IPhone 5 and Mac OS X 10.5.8

I recently bought an iPhone 5 not knowing that I need the new iTunes to sync my music into it, however my software (Mac OS X 10.5.8) (I know, laugh at me) won't allow me to update the iTunes without updating my OS X to Mountain Lion. I can't do that update right now, and was wondering if there's any good program/alternative for iTunes that can let me sync my songs from my mac to my phone

To be honest there are no itunes alternatives for apple products maybe read in to hacktivating the iphone then using app sync to sync the files across… Another method could be using paralells desktop and use a trial of windows just to set it up etc. Hope I helped, Please visit my site - http://ievo.webatu.com

Am I missing something? What computer? Ask about a computer, tell what it is. Your options depend on the exact computer.

"I can't do that update right now" Not sure why "now" is in this sentence. Is it a finances issue? Well, sure, food and shelter comes before iPhone syncing.

The truth is you can NEVER do that "update". Mountain Lion can't be installed as an "upgrade" over OS 10.5.8. The minimum requirement to install OS 10.8 as an upgrade is OS 10.6.8. Here are your options…
-- Buy the DVD below. After installing it as an upgrade over OS 10.5.8, use Software Update under the Apple logo menu. Then you will have iTunes that works with iPhone 5.
-- Call Apple at 1-800-myapple and ask to buy OS 10.7 ("Lion"). They will give you a code to download and install it. Even then, you have to follow the article at the second link below to make an installer DVD or USB disk and either erase and install or create a new partition with Disk Utility to install Lion separately from OS 10.5.8.
-- Go to another Mac that is running OS 10.6.6 or later, use the App Store to buy "Mountain Lion", and do the article details about making a DVD or disk installer and yada yada.

As I said in the first paragraph above, need to know what computer---or look up on the Apple site yourself to see if your computer can even be upgraded. Tell what you have, and I can tell you what upgrades work with it.
