IPhone 5 apple maps voice navigation not working?
So i just got a brand new iPhone 5 with a vodafone plan, and upon using the Apple Maps app, and selecting a route when driving, the phone didn't speak to me the directions and go to the next step of the directions. I have gone to settings in Apple maps and changed the voice to loud and stuff like that. How can i get the app to work?
There are so many things wrong with the app it's insane. Until they fix it, just use mapquest.
- Why is Live Traffic on Iphone maps not showing up during navigation? When I use Apple Maps it only shows live traffic when I'm not using the turn by turn mode. As soon as I start it to give me directions the traffic data goes away. Anyway to fix this? I have turned on the traffic. Hence why it shows up before I start the turn by turn. The traffic data vanishes once its giving me directions
- Old GPS or iPhone maps or google maps app? I'm going to drive from IL down to SC and I don't trust my old garmin nuvï 255 nor iphone maps lol:-) GPS update is $50 which I'm not going to spend. So has anyone used iphone maps or google maps app on long distance trips? Or I just better use old gps?
- IPhone got wet and home screen button/voice control not working? I was actually using hand sanitizer and it got into the charging opening of the iPhone. I thought I dried it out but now the home button does not work and every other time, the voice control randomly pops up. I tried putting the iPhone in rice to remove the moisture but only for a few hours (two hours at least). Should I try for 24 hours? Any other suggestions? Will apple store help repair this issue without erasing my pictures, videos or texts from my phone?
- IPhone: Google maps or default apple maps? I personally like the default maps, at least the OS 7 version. (like everyone else who had a brain, I hated the OS 6 version) Which one do you guys like more? Which is more popular now?
