IPhone 5 Authentication Required?
So basically, my parents bought me a iPhone 5 today on craigslist for $500 and all the persons information was on it, so i read online and they said to factory reset the phone, so I did what it said on the Apple website. Once I factory reset the phone it updated to iOS 7.0.2 and it came up to a white page that said "Hello" and it made me type in my country and language. After that it "This iPhone is linked to a Apple ID." it showed no email but @gmail.com. So I tried to type in my email and password but it said it was incorrect, so I don't know what to do, we called the guy we bought it from on craigslist and he never picks up our calls or anything. This is my first ever Apple Device, so please help me and tell me what to do to fix this and get my iPhone working.
Maybe it was stolen… Go to your nearest carrier network store to get it checked out or go to the apple store!
The owner of the phone has to turn find my phone off. You need to contact the owner who can do this from his computer or on the phone. Only way.
- Wi-Fi authentication problem - how do I fix it? Wi-Fi is working perfectly fine on my phone, but on my dad's phone it says 'authentication failure' - both phones are connected to the same modem so what's the problem? If it helps, I have an iPhone and my dad has a samsung galaxy s2, we're both on Vodafone I've tried restarting my dad's phone but it didn't change anything
- Why does my iphone randomly say activation required? So the other day I was just using my iPhone 4 running IOS 6 beta and I had shut down my iPhone completely for about 2 hours and then when i turned it back on, it said "activation required and it wants me to connect to Wi-Fi to connect to apples activation servers. It will not let me get to my home screen and everytime I try to activate it it tells me to try again later. BTW, it also says no service at the top of my iPhone. And this has also happened to my iPad.
- Update required to sync ical to iphone? I have not updated my MacBook to iOS x.iTunes used to be able to sync my iCal calendars to my iPhone. With the latest version of iTunes, it seems as though the sync happens between calendars on my phone and iCloud -- not iCal. Is it necessary to upgrade now to allow the sync?
- Sign in required? IPhone Everytime I try to download an app It always says to sign in required to view billing information, I have no money in my bank account though, is there ANY way I can download an app without this popping up?
