IPhone 5 Backup/ Photo to computer?
I broke my phone screen and have to have it sent off to my insurance who will either fix or replace my phone. The screen it pretty bad so i have the feeling it will be replaced.
I have backed up my iPhone on itunes but what will this save?
I want to keep my Messages, Contacts, Photos, Notes.everything really but i'm unsure what this backs up?
Also how do i remove my photos from my iPhone onto my computer?
Also where could i find my saves messages on my computer if they are backed up?
Plug phone into computer with no programs open and your photo program should open asking you to import photos. The back up is stored in a file on your computer compressed. For total list of what itunes back up check out apple.com/support.
- WHATSAPP BACKUP! Why can't i find the backup conversation button in chat settings? I need to backup my whatsapp convo to iCloud from my iPhone 4s, because i wanna transfer the chat history to my iPhone 5s… But somehow i can't find the "backup conversation" button in chat settings. I have alrdy downloaded the latest version of whatsapp… WHAT IS GOING WRONG?
- Is there a way(without computer)to move my texts from my iPad to my IPhone? ICloud backup? Had to restore phone to last backup and lost texts? Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- Does iCloud Backup Take up more space then iTunes backup? When I backup my iphone on iCloud it takes up 4.7GB of iCloud Storage. When I backup my iphone on my mac with iTunes it only takes up 2.3Gb Apple webstie says itunes backup will backup your phone exactly as it is and that iCloud only backs up important information. So why does backing my iphone take 4.7GB of iCloud space but backing up my iphone with itunes takes up only 2.3gb of space on my mac?
- I forgot to backup my iPhone before, I backup past version? Now I lost all my new pictures, I don't know what to do. How do I get them back? I CLOUD backup doesn't work, how do i undo this? How to do i get my recent information back?
