IPhone 5 cases? Which would you recommend?

Okay, first of all, I don't want to pay a lot, so I've started my search on amazon to find a good deal.
I'm interested in getting a waterproof case, mostly because those are the most well-designed cases in terms of protection (in my opinion). I looked at otterbox and I think they are too bulky and heavy. My little sister got a lifeproof case for her iPhone 4, so I was interested in getting one of those. They're cheaper on amazon, but I know that you can get fake cases that are "disguised" as real lifeproof cases, so I'm worried about that. I'm also worried that I won't like that there's space between the screen and the protector. Should I go ahead and get the case? Or should I look into different kinds/certified cases?

Hello NiteOwl I have a lifeproof case and I can say it works good has long has you don't do what I did and continue playing with the part that covers up the charger and break it XD anyways if your worried about the screen protecter being annoying think about it like this… Every waterproof case is going to have one. And to make sure it's real I would personally just buy it from the actual website sorry and good luck!
