IPhone 5 cotract/pay as you go?
I'm thinking of getting an iPhone 5, but I'm not sure about the contract or pay as you go. I hardly ever call anyone, and I don't text much, the maximum would be about 200 texts a month. The only thing is I really want to be able to use the Internet whenever I want. The contracts are so expensive though. I currently have a htc wildfire on Vodafone and it is pay as you go. I top up 10 pounds a month and get 500mb free data, would I be able to still get the same deal with an iPhone 5? I'm also confused about the nano sim thing, does this mean I need to get a new SIM card? How do I go about getting an iPhone 5 with a Vodafone pay as you go sim? It ideally needs to be Vodafone because not many networks cover the area I live in, I'm in the UK.
Probably better
t-mobile does a PAYG iPhone SIM - with Free (yes) 500MB internet for a year
(text from the iPhone to enable it)
and you keep your topups for making calls as well.
but yes, if you want to stay with vodafone. No problem.
- Would you pay to have the backing glass of you iphone changed to a different colour? I was thinking of this has a business idea. I saw that the new ipods had different backing cases of different colours and i was thinking i would really like my iphone to be blue, so would you think it was a good idea to have the back of your iphone a different colour, would you pay for it?
- What can you do with n iPhone if you don't pay for phone service? Can you do everything else (connect to Wi-Fi, download apps, etc) except call/text and be able to access the internet? Does it basically just turn into an iPod Touch?
- Verizon upgrade fee? Can I pay at the store or do I have to pay it the next bill? I plan on upgrading my phone and renewing my contract next month in January. I plan on getting the iPhone 5s. I'm on this family plan with one line. Is there's an activation fee that I have to pay? Can I pay the upgrade fee at the store while purchasing the new phone? Or do I have to pay it on the next bill?
- Is pay as you go better than pay monthy for an iphone? I can either can an iphone 4 (32gb with small scratch on screen) for 100 pounds and then have a pay as you go sim or an 8gb iphone 4 for "effectively 14.88 a month". Which works out the better deal?
